Please remember to order a printer and scanner well in advance of your event. We prefer that you place your order at least 4 weeks ahead to give us time to process your request and send you the equipment. We also recommend that you test the equipment before use.

Prices and checklist

Both the scanner and printer cost NOK 750,- excluding VAT per unit, per use.

Please read through the checklist that comes with the equipment when you receive it:

  • Always test the equipment well in advance of the event, preferably as soon as you receive it.
  • You need one PC or Mac per set of scanner and printer. This should be arranged on your end.
  • You also need 2 USB inputs for the computer if you are using both a scanner and printer. Therefore, remember to bring the right adapter for your MacBook or PC if needed. 

Note! Damaged equipment must be replaced. Ensure proper packaging when returning it to us. Equipment should be returned within 2 days after the event is completed.

Some Tips and Key Points:

  • Always use the Google Chrome web browser; it works best.
  • Remember to set up ticket distribution in advance, preferably via SMS. See the event setup and ticket distribution in "Event setup."
  • If you have a PC, you must install the driver, and remember to follow the installation guide carefully.
  • If someone arrives to your event instead of someone else, typically due to illness, you can swap one participant for another.
    • Click on the order number in the scanner view.
    • Click on "Action and Edit."
    • Click on "Swap user" and register the new participant.
    • Go back to the scanner, update the window, and scan the ticket.

 

How to Resolve Common Errors:

  • The printer won't print.
    • It's not connected.
    • The driver has been installed incorrectly (applies to PC only). Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Follow the instructions carefully.
  • I can't scan the ticket; nothing happens.
    • The user has activated "dark mode" on their phone. In this case, it won't work. Search for the participant by name instead and click the white square to mark their arrival (the box will turn green).
    • The participant's phone has a broken screen. You can ask for their name or the person who made the booking and look them up.
    • The lighting in the room is too dark or too bright. The scanner can be somewhat light-sensitive, so it's a good idea to test a scan before participants arrive. Direct sunlight is not recommended.
