How much does it cost to use Checkin?
- System fee per ticket: 8 NOK + 2%
- Transaction fee per ticket: 2.5%
The price model for using Checkin is that you do not pay a fixed fee or license, but a fixed amount + a percentage per ticket. The percentage is calculated of the total ticket price, including any additional items with a price. There is also a transaction fee associated with the financial transfer from the participant, via Checkin, to the organizer. The transaction fee includes the use of Vipps, cards, and invoice via email.
The system fee is subject to VAT, while the transaction fee is exempt from VAT.
Maximum and minimum prices
The maximum price is 350 NOK for invoices. This means that the transaction fee per ticket for invoice payment will never exceed 350 NOK. For cards and Vipps, there is no maximum price as we have a dynamic supplier costs.
The minimum price for a ticket is 18 NOK. This means that tickets from approximately 300 NOK and below cost 18 NOK each.
For free tickets, the price is 8 NOK.
Extra services in Checkin
- Price per name tag at check-in: 3 NOK excl. VAT
- Refunds (to participants): 10 NOK excl. VAT
- SMS from Checkin (to participants): 80 øre/each excl. VAT
- Extra payout: 35 NOK (your funds are paid out on the 1st of each month without a fee)
- Direct payment: If payment is received outside of Checkin: 8 NOK excl. VAT + 3.5%
- Seat map: 7500 NOK excl. VAT (5000 NOK from seat map number 2)
- Sending invoice by mail: 30 NOK
- Debt collection: For all resolved debt collection cases, a transaction fee of 3.5% + 6% debt collection fee is charged (excl. VAT)
- Assistance for Zapier integration: 2000 NOK excl. VAT.
- Equipment rental for check-in:
- 750 NOK excl. VAT per scanner
- 750 NOK excl. VAT per printer
Ideal organization?
Checkin has a separate pricing model for all ideal organizations. This applies to all with sector code 7000 in the Brønnøysund Register Centre. You can check this yourself at www.brreg.no.
When you register a new account in Checkin, the system will automatically retrieve information and change the rates if your organization is registered as ideal in the Brønnøysund Register Centre.
The special prices for ideal organizations are:
- System fee per ticket: 3 NOK + 1%
- Transaction fee per ticket: 2.5%
- Minimum price is 5 NOK per ticket
- Free tickets are free for up to 500 participants per year. From participant 501 and above, a charge of 3 NOK per ticket applies.
