Economy in Checkin

We want the accounting aspect of your event to be as simple as possible! Read more to learn how to manage this in Checkin.

Introduction to Economy in Checkin

Checkin is a registration system designed to make it easier for you to manage the financial side of your event. You can handle registrations, receive payments, and manage invoicing in a simple way - and the best part: no paperwork! The funds collected from your sales will be paid out monthly to the bank account you provide, along with an accounting settlement via email. Here's an introduction on how to gain full control over the financial aspect in your Checkin profile.

Economy Dashboard

On the dashboard, you'll find a general overview of your balance, incoming payments for the current month, fees to be deducted, and most importantly, what will be available for the next payment as of the current date. As a standard, Checkin always retains 3000 NOK as a positive customer balance so that you can make refunds to customers who need to cancel or send messages by SMS from the system (0.80 NOK per message, excluding VAT).

If you have multiple sub-organizations or payout accounts, 3000 NOK will be retained per sub-organization account. If you for some reason want the money transferred or wish to adjust the retained balance, send us an email at support@checkin.no.

You can find the accounting- and settlement reports on the right side of the window. These are issued along with the transfer of available funds for payment once a month, usually on the 1st or 2nd of each month. It's possible to set up more frequent payouts; this can be adjusted within the "payout account" tab.

By clicking on the blue icon with three lines and "view all" you'll access a complete overview of all accounting- and settlement reports issued for the account.

To download the settlements, click on the PDF icon or the Excel icon, depending on your preferred format. If you make changes to the chart of accounts, the entries will update accordingly.
